Hello and Welcome!đ
I’m Joanna Slodownikâplant-powered creator, smoothie slinger, and kindness crusader behind the Green Reset Formula and the This Amazing World and Planet Herbivore books for kids and families.
Basically? Iâm on a mission to help you live (and eat!) in a way thatâs good for you, the animals, and the planet.
As a self-appointed green smoothie guru, certified juicing-for-health expert, writer, wife, and mom, I share real-food recipes that are simple, quick, and loved by even the most skeptical eatersâyes, including my husband and son!
I also write whimsical, fact-filled childrenâs books that inspire kids to fall in love with animals, plants, and the magic of nature. Whether itâs elephants, ducks, flamingos, snakes, or even bananasâthereâs always something new to discover in This Amazing World.
đ My books are here to help you:
- Get more greens into your life (without gaggingđ)
- Feed yourself and your family delicious plant foods
- Feel good about your choicesâfor your body, animals, and the planet
- Learn more about the amazing world around you and creatures we share this planet with
I believe that what we put on our plates can change everythingâfrom our health, to the lives of animals, to the future of our planet. So whether youâre plant-curious or plant-committed, Iâm here to make the journey joyful, simple, and delicious. đ

Green Smoothie Recipe with Home-Made Grape Juice (From Self-Grown Grapes!)
I really wonder why more people donât grow fruits and veggies in their backyards in the U.S. Itâs so easy and so much fun! I know some people do, but really itâs a tiny percentage. Considering that so much time is spent mowing the lawns, and so much water to keep them green â why not have some culinary enjoyment instead of simply a good looking â but totally useless â piece of land.
So, after the last visit from dziaĹka I came home with three large baskets full of deliciously sweet dark grapes.
